Those who get unsocketed Unique or Set weapons with good IAS can choose to use the Larzuk socketing quest to gain one socket for a Shael rune to improve their IAS further. This rune drops starting in Nightmare, and may be dropped by the Countess starting on that difficulty level.

The Shael rune gives 20% Increased Attack Speed when inserted into a weapon. This trait is only found on Magic-quality jewels, not Rare. Starting at level 39, you can sometimes find the magic-quality Jewel of Fervor, which gives 15% IAS.
